1. About these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and Trade GPT, the operator of the Trade GPT Official Website at trade-gpt.ca and the Trade GPT platform (together, the “Services”). They should be read together with our privacy policy and risk disclaimer, which form part of these terms.
2. Who can use Trade GPT
To use the Services, you must:
- have reached the age of majority in your province or territory of residence;
- be legally able to enter into a binding agreement;
- provide accurate, current and complete registration information;
- not be prohibited from using trading services under any law that applies to you.
We may refuse registration, or close an account, where we cannot verify a user's identity or where we believe these requirements are not met.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your log-in details confidential and for all activity under your account. Enable two-step login where offered, use a strong password and tell us straight away at support@trade-gpt.ca if you suspect unauthorised access. You may hold only one account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
4. How the Services work
Trade GPT provides software that analyses markets and can place trades automatically according to the strategy and risk limits you choose. Demo mode uses virtual funds and is provided for practice only; demo results do not reflect real market conditions such as slippage, liquidity or fees, and are not a prediction of live results.
You decide whether to switch on automated trading, which strategy to use and which limits apply. You can pause automated trading at any time. Trades already open when you pause may remain open until closed according to your settings or by you.
5. No financial advice
The Services, this website and any content we provide, including trade explanations, articles and FAQs, are for information and educational purposes. They are not personalised financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are solely responsible for deciding whether trading is appropriate for you. Consider speaking with a qualified, registered adviser before trading.
6. Risk acknowledgement
By using the Services, you acknowledge that:
- trading cryptocurrencies, forex and other instruments is high risk and you may lose all money deposited;
- past performance, backtests and demo results do not guarantee future results;
- automated systems, including AI, can make losing trades and can be affected by technical failures;
- markets can move quickly, and stop-loss orders may not always execute at the exact level set;
- you should only trade with money you can afford to lose.
7. Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Registration is free. Any minimum deposit, fees, spreads or charges that apply to your account are shown in the platform before you commit funds. Deposits and withdrawals may be subject to identity checks, anti-fraud reviews and the processing times of payment providers. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your trading activity.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or money laundering;
- provide false information or impersonate another person;
- attempt to access accounts, systems or data that do not belong to you;
- copy, reverse engineer, scrape or resell any part of the Services;
- interfere with the security or performance of the website or platform;
- use our name, logo or content to create websites, ads or messages that mislead others.
9. Intellectual property
The Trade GPT name, logo, software, website design and content belong to Trade GPT or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Services for your own trading. No other rights are granted.
10. Third-party services and links
The Services may rely on, or link to, third parties such as payment providers, identity verification services, market data sources and Google Translate. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and their own terms may apply.
11. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the Services available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, update features, or change or withdraw parts of the Services. Where a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice where possible.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trade GPT is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services, market movements, technical failures or decisions made by automated strategies you have chosen. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the consumer protection laws of your province or territory.
13. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Trade GPT for reasonable losses and costs caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Services.
14. Suspension and closing your account
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, if required by law, or to protect users from fraud. Where possible, we will tell you why and explain how to withdraw any remaining balance.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province or territory in which you reside, without affecting any rights you have under local consumer protection law.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@trade-gpt.ca or through our contact page.
